Large Group Junior Conference(Video) In this video, we will introduce post-secondary planning. We will cover how careers tie into post-secondary planning, including college majors and schools, Standardized Testing (SAT), the College Search Process, Post-secondary timeline/checklist
College and Career Planning Night(College Planning Night is scheduled for Wednesday, February 8th 2023 at Henderson High School. This is a parent night that covers post-secondary planning. In years past, we have invited local college admissions representatives to join us for a collaborative look at how admissions requirements can vary from college to college.
Individual Junior Conference: (These meetings will be scheduled during the second and third marking periods) This is an individual conference we will have with all juniors on our caseloads. Here we will further the conversations from the Large Group Conference and individualize post-secondary planning for each student. Parents will be invited to attend these meetings, though they are not required to attend. Much of what is covered in this meeting is also covered at our College Planning Night.
